Hospice Work
Alongside her hospital work, Kerry also delivers Neurological Music Therapy within a hospice setting as part of a project established by St Michael's Hospice. The programme funded 40-minute group sessions for up to 25 participants, including people living with Parkinson's disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurone Disease (MND), and their carers.
These sessions combine evidence-based neurological music therapy techniques with participant-led music in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. By using familiar and meaningful music chosen by the group, Kerry supports physical, cognitive and emotional wellbeing while fostering social connection, enjoyment and a sense of community.
